Congenital malformation of male and female genital tract, are structural defects occurring in boys and girls since birth. It is difficult to detect some of these malformations during early life. While some of the malformations appear externally, some conditions may be noticed only later in life or when certain symptoms develop. How and why do things go wrong in development? Human genital abnormalities are currently described as "Disorders of Sex Development" and includes: chromosomal, gonadal dysfunction, tract abnormalities, external genitalia and gonadal genital system is closely associated developmentally and anatomically with the renal system, often called the "urogenital system Stage 0: Normal female genitalia.
