    The work on the reinforced concrete (RC) containment model is particularly applicable to this paper. A lscale model of a typical U.S. reinforced concrete containment was designed, constructed, and tested under pneumatic internal pressurization in July (Ref. 11). The design and fabrication followed the ASME Code as closely as possible.
